Who’s Complaining About Pumping Their Own Gas?

Under the topic of “it’s almost too good to be true,” you have to read what drivers in Oregon are complaining about—-having to pump their own gasoline! Not a joke!

Beginning Jan. 1, a new state law took effect ‘allowing’ drivers in counties with less than 40,000 people to fill up their cars and trucks by themselves.  And many don’t like it!

As USA Today reported, the only other state that doesn’t allow you to pump your own gas is New Jersey.

“I don’t even know HOW to pump gas and I am 62, native Oregonian…..I say NO THANKS! I don’t want to smell like gasoline!” was the response of one irked driver in Oregon.

Another said, “I’ve lived in this state all my life and I REFUSE to pump my own gas. I had to do it once in California while visiting my brother and almost died doing it. This a service only qualified people should perform. I will literally park at the pump and wait until someone pumps my gas.”

We’ll let you draw your own conclusions about drivers in Oregon.
