Oklahoma City’s SandRidge Energy has announced the appointment of a new Senior Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer.
Michael A. Johnson will assume his new duties Aug. 15, after departing Chesapeake Energy Corporation where he had worked for 17 years.
The 52-year old Johnson previously was Vice President of Accounting and Financial Reporting at Chesapeake. Before that, he worked for Phibro Energy Production and with Arthur Andersen & Co.
Word of his appointment was revealed in a SandRidge Energy filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
