The SCOOP and the STACK, two highly-popular oil plays in Oklahoma will be in the spotlight later this month when Hart Energy presents its annual DUG Midcontinent oil and gas show in Oklahoma City.
Among the speakers at the show on Oct. 26-28 is Jack Stark, President and COO of Continental Resources based in Oklahoma City. Mark Immekus, Sr. Director of Business Development at Hart Energy says Stark will be a speaker on Friday morning at 8:35, Oct. 28.
The DUG will open Thursday, Oct. 27 at the Cox Convention Center. The opening keynote will be given by Wade Hutchings, Regional Vice President of Midcontinent Assets at Marathon Oil. Corp. His focus will be on his firm’s growth in the STACK play.
Hutchings will be followed by an economics panel featuring Ed Morse, Managing Director and Global head, Commodities Research at Citigroup Global Markets Inc. and Subash Chandra, Managing Director and Senior Equity Analyst at Guggenheim Securities LLC.
Tony Vaughn, Chief Operating Officer at Devon Energy Corp. will deliver a 1:30 p.m. keynote on “Building Momentum in the STACK.”
