Latest from the Oklahoma Corporation Commission regarding the issue of gasoline with too much ethanol that was supplied to numerous gasoline stations in the state last week.

Please note that this list is Magellan’s, and is not generated by the Oklahoma Corporation Commission. Key points regarding the Magellan Fuel Recall:
· The amount of fuel involved totals about 10,700 barrels (about 449,400 gallons).
· Magellan’s “worst case” estimate is that the fuel could contain up to 30 percent ethanol.
However, all indications are that the actual amount is less than that, and any product would be further diluted by the pre-existing fuel in the storage tank.
· The fuel was dispatched from the Magellan facility during the period of August 23 to August 29 from one of six delivery bays.
· Magellan has contacted all the retailers in question, and they have responded quickly.
The Oklahoma Corporation Commission’s Petroleum Storage Tank division fuel inspectors are working to ensure impacted retailers have stopped sale of the fuel in question, and that the product is returned to Magellan. Thus far, there have been no
problems found.
