Drones to be Banned Near Wildlife in Pennsylvania

Drones get the attention of the fish and wildlife experts in the state of Pennsylvania. The State’s Game Commission has moved to ban drones over 1.5 million acres because they are near the nests of bald eagles. Plus, they reportedly are interfering in the migration of ducks and geese.

The Commission took a preliminary vote this week and will make a final decision in July. The vote came after game wardens cited at least five cases where drones disturbed wildlife during this year’s snow goose migration season. The drones were also reported to have flown close to bald eagles’ nests.
