Supply Report Pushes Crude Prices Higher on Wednesday

Crude prices rose on Wednesday after it was revealed crude supplies grew slower than expected. April West Texas Intermediate crude added 28 cents to end trade at $32.15 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange. April Brent crude tacked on $1.14 to settle at $34.41 a barrel on the London ICE Futures Exchange.

The U.S. Energy Information Administration’s weekly supply report showed that crude supplies rose by 3.5 million barrels last week.

Iran also once again blew off any talk of production caps with OPEC members.

March natural gas slipped less than a penny on Wednesday to end trade on the New York Mercantile Exchange at $1.778 per million British thermal units.
