Oklahoma City-based Enable Midstream Partners, LP announced the naming of an independent director to its board of directors. He is energy industry veteran Ronnie K. Irani, president and CEO of RKI Energy Resources whose appointment is effect March 1, 2016.
Before forming RKI Energy Resources, Irani was president and CEO of RKI Exploration and Production which was purchased by WPX Energy in 2015. He also served as senior vice president and general manager of the Western US business units for Dominion Resources and as an executive vice president at Louis Dreyfus Natural Gas Corp.
Irani also serves on the board of the Mewbourne School of Petroleum and Geological Engineering and the Sarkeys Energy Center at the University of Oklahoma. He also sits on the board of the Interstate Oil and Gas Compact Commission and the Board of Visitors for the International Programs at the University of Oklahoma.
Irani’s replacing C. Scott Hobbs who will step down from the board.
Enable Midstream Partners is a company that has more than 12,400 miles of gathering pipelines, 13 major processing plants and nearly 2.3 billion cubic feet a day of processing capacity. It also owns 7,900 miles of interstate pipelines.
