Crude oil bounced back to $61 a barrel in Thursday’s trading

Crude oil prices turned things around in Thursday’s trading, finished above $61 a barrel after Wednesday’s drop to around $59.

West Texas Intermediate crude for May delivery shot up $2.29 to $61.45 a barrel in trading on the New York Mercantile Exchange.

Global benchmark Brent crude had a good day as well, finishing up $2.12 to $64.86 a barrel on ICE Futures Europe.

May natural gas rose 2 cents to $2.64 per 1,000 cubic feet.

Thursday was a big day for most Oklahoma energy stocks. Cimarex Energy had the biggest gain of the day at 8.47% as shares rose $5.03 to close at $64.42.

Laredo Petroleum had a gain of 8.28% on a $2.49 increase to $32.55. Devon Energy gained 7.45% on an increase of $1.63 to reach $23.50 for the day.

Alliance Resource Partners, L.P. gained 1.38% on an 8 cent increase to $5.88.
Ascent Resources closed down 7 cents for a 1% loss to $6.83.
Blueknight Energy Partners gained 5.56% on an 18 cent hike to $3.42.
Chesapeake Energy closed up $1.54 for a 3.55% gain to $44.93.
Continental Resources gained 5.68% on a $1.47 jump to $27.34.
Cypress Environmental Partners lost 1.68% on a 4 cent fall to $2.34.
Enable Midstream Partners LP rose 19 cents for a 2.92% gain to $6.69.
Gulfport Energy Corporation took a big fall as it lost 5.81% and closed the day at $0.047 cents.
Helmerich & Payne Inc. had a 5.49% gain on a $1.48 increase to $28.44.
LSB Industries gained 3.51% as shares rose 18 cents to $5.31.
Magellan Midstream Partners closed up 83 cents at $44.19 and a nearly 2% gain.
Mammoth Energy Services Inc finished up 4 cents at $5.36 and a gain of nearly 1%.
Matrix Service Company had a 4.50% gain as shares rose 59 cents to close at $13.70.
NGL Energy Partners finished with a gain of 6.86% on a 14 cent increase to $2.18 a share.
OGE Energy Corp. finished with a 25 cent increase and a gain of less than 1% to settle at $32.61.
ONE Gas dropped 9 cents to $76.81 for a loss of 0.12%.
ONEOK Inc. closed at $51.35 after a 65 cent increase and a gain of 1.28%.
Ovintiv Inc finished up $1.06 at $24.88 and a gain of 4.45%.
PHX Minerals Inc. had a 1.74% gain after a 5 cent increase to $2.92.
SandRidge Energy finished up 10 cents for a 2.56% gain to $4.01.
Unit Corporation rose 33 cents to $12.55 and a 2.70% gain.
Williams Companies Inc. finished up 21 cents at $23.90 and a gain of less than 1%.
Other energy stocks went up as well according to the Texas Energy Report.

Diamondback Energy (FANG) up 7.73 at 81.22 – change 10.51%

Energy Transfer LP (ET) up 0.17 at 7.85 – change 2.21%

Enterprise Products Partners (EPD) up 0.25 at 22.27 – change 1.13%

EOG Resources (EOG) up 2.81 at 75.34 – change 3.87%

ExxonMobil (XOM) up 1.56 at 57.39 – change 2.79%

Kinder Morgan (KMI) up 0.19 at 16.84 – change 1.14%

Marathon Oil Corp. (MRO) up 1.11 at 11.79 – change 10.39%

National Oilwell Varco (NOV) up 0.47 at 14.19 – change 3.42%

Occidental Petroleum (OXY) up 0.76 at 27.38 – change 2.85%

Phillips 66 (PSX) up 1.62 at 83.16 – change 1.98%

Pioneer Natural Resources (PXD) up 5.78 at 164.60 – change 3.63%

Valero (VLO) up 3.70 at 75.30 – change 5.16%
