Some energy stocks increased Wednesday while WTI dropped

 

Wednesday proved to be another big day in trading for some Oklahoma energy companies, despite the protests in Washington, D.C. and a drop in U.S. crude oil prices.

Crude oil futures dropped in the U.S. but increased in Europe. West Texas Intermediate crude for February delivery fell 19 cents to $50.44 per barrel, a drop of 0.38%.

Global benchmark Brent crude, also for February delivery was up 70 cents to finish the day at $54.30, a gain of 1.31%.

Natural gas slipped one cent to $2.71 per MMBtu, a decline of 0.22%.

Who had the biggest gain of the Oklahoma companies?  Chesapeake Energy had a nearly 17% gain as its stock rose 31 cents to finish the day at $2.16.

Alliance Resource Partners, L.P. had a 2.52% gain when its shares had a 12 cent hike and settled at $4.89.
Blueknight Energy Partners LP had a one cent increase to $2.05 for a 0.49% gain.
Continental Resources, Inc. ended up with a 3.17% gain when its shares jumped 61 cents to $19.83.
Cypress Environmental Partners LP lost 5 cents for a 2.11% fall to $2.32.
Devon Energy Corp jumped 97 cents for a nearly 6% gain to $18.33.
Enable Midstream Partners LP finished up 15 cents for a 2.85% gain to $5.41.
Gulfport Energy Corporation suffered a more than 10% drop as shares settled at 7 cents each.
Helmerich & Payne, Inc. shares rose 5 cents to $25.08.
LSB Industries, Inc. dropped 8 cents or 2.16% to $3.62.
 Laredo Petroleum Inc slipped two cents to $23.88.
Magellan Midstream Partners, L.P. shares rose $1.40 or 3.26% to $44.34.
Mammoth Energy Services Inc saw a 12 cent increase or 2.60% gain to $4.74.
Matrix Service Co had a nearly 8% gain when shares rose 88 cents to reach $11.92.
NGL Energy Partners LP finished with an 8 cent increase or 3.34% gain to $2.63.
OGE Energy Corp. saw shares settle at $32.92 following a 97 cent spike in prices and a gain of more than 3%.
ONE Gas Inc jumped $2.65 for a 3.54% gain to $77.49.
ONEOK, Inc. ended up 44 cents for a 1.12% gain to $39.83.
Ovintiv Inc finished the day up 60 cents or 3.60% at $17.28.
PHX Minerals Inc ended up 4 cents or 1.57% at $2.58.
SandRidge Energy Inc. lost ten cents or 2.60% to finish the day at $3.75.
WPX Energy Inc had a 48 cent hike to $9.43 which was a gain of 5.36%.
Williams Companies Inc’s shares increased by 79 cents to $21.50, a gain of 3.81%.

Energy Transfer LP (ET) up 0.16 at 6.62 – change 2.47%

Enterprise Products Partners (EPD) up 1.00 at 20.98 – change 5.00%

EOG Resources (EOG) up 1.13 at 55.06 – change 2.11%

ExxonMobil (XOM) up 1.11 at 44.61 – change 2.55%

Kinder Morgan (KMI) up 0.46 at 14.36 – change 3.30%

Marathon Oil Corp. (MRO) up 0.05 at 7.50 – change 0.67%

National Oilwell Varco (NOV) up 0.36 at 15.02 – change 2.45%

Occidental Petroleum (OXY) up 0.79 at 20.00 – change 4.11%

Parsley Energy (PE) up 0.49 at 15.65 – change 3.23%

Phillips 66 (PSX) down 0.53 at 71.22 – change 0.74%

Pioneer Natural Resources (PXD) up 5.01 at 126.36 – change 4.12%

Valero (VLO) up 1.28 at 58.60 – change 2.23%
