A gain in oil and gas rigs was reported in Oklahoma while the nation’s count slipped in the past week, according to the most recent Baker Hughes Rig Count released on Friday.

The count in Alaska remained at 11 and California’s total of 7 rigs was the same as the previous week. The Red Top Rig Report in Wichita reported the Kansas count jumped 3 to 15. Ohio was unchanged at 11 and Pennsylvania remained at 20 rigs.
The count in Utah fell 2 to 15 while West Virginia was unchanged at 8. Wyoming’s total declined 2 to 15 rigs.
