Slight gain in crude oil prices following end of latest US and Iran nuclear talks

The end of a third round of nuclear talks between the U.S. and Iran sent crude oil prices rising ever so slightly on Thursday.

It was described as “choppy” trading by Reuters.

Brent crude futures expiring in April finished up 0.6% to $71.14 per barrel.

West Texas Intermediate crude settled at $65.60 a barrel after a gain of 0.2% on the New York Mercantile Exchange.

Natural gas prices fell Thursday, a day after a slight gain. They settled at $2.83 MMBtu with a drop of $0.038 or 1.32%.

Thursday was a turnaround for Oklahoma energy stocks as most recorded gains, including LSB Industries Inc. with a jump of more than 15%.
