
Oklahoma saw a gain in its gross production tax revenue from oil and gas in the state for the month of January, according to State Treasurer Todd Russ.
The January tax revenue was released this week showing total revenue for January was $ 1,531,773,919.77. Revenue from oil and gas production tax was $85.2 million, an increase of 1.4% compared to collections in December 2025.

Revenue total of $17.22B for the last 12 months,
an increase of $347M, or 2.1%, over the last year.
– Year-over-year monthly comparisons show an
overall increase of $19M or 1.3%.
– Increase in revenue of 0.2% over last month.
– Three tax sources increased over the last year:
– Total Sales and Use Tax of $642.0M up 5.4%,
– Gross Production Tax of $85.2M up 1.4%,
– Motor Vehicle Tax of $73.7M up 1.6%,
– Total Income Tax of $594.7M down 1.9% and
– Other Tax Sources of $136.2M down 3.5%.
