Stardust Power names Bruce Czachor as General Counsel
Stardust Power Inc., the lithium development company advancing a major battery-grade lithium refinery in Oklahoma, has appointed Bruce Czachor as General Counsel, effective immediately.
Czachor will oversee legal, regulatory, and corporate governance matters for the company and will report directly to Founder and CEO Roshan Pujari, according to the announcement.
Extensive lithium and energy sector experience
Czachor brings more than 30 years of legal and executive leadership experience across publicly traded energy and mining companies, with deep experience in the lithium sector.
Most recently, he served as Executive Vice President and Chief Legal Officer at Piedmont Lithium Inc., where he advised the board and executive leadership on corporate strategy, governance, securities, financing, regulatory compliance, and mergers and acquisitions. In that role, Czachor helped lead the cross-border public merger between Piedmont Lithium and Elevera Mining (formerly Sayona Mining), navigating complex regulatory and capital-markets requirements.
Supporting the Muskogee lithium refinery project
Stardust Power said Czachor’s background includes direct involvement in lithium refinery development, a key asset as the company advances its Muskogee lithium refinery toward construction, financing, and execution.
Company officials said his sector-specific expertise, combined with public-company governance experience and a global industry network, strengthens Stardust Power’s leadership team as it moves into the next phase of development and capital formation.
Broad legal background in energy and finance
Prior to his work in the lithium sector, Czachor served as Vice President and General Counsel at Paringa Resources Limited and held partner-level roles at A&O Shearman, Orrick, and Duane Morris. His legal career includes advising Fortune 500 companies, startups, and global investment banks across sectors including clean energy, metals and mining, oil and gas, refining, telecommunications, biotech, and software.
Education and credentials
Czachor earned his Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, from New York Law School, where he served as Executive Editor of the Law Review, and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Binghamton University. He completed a Wharton School Corporate Governance certification in 2023 and is admitted to practice law in New York, New Jersey, and California.
