ONEOK adds two independent directors to board

ONEOK, Inc. announced that its board of directors has elected Mark A. McCollum and Precious Williams Owodunni as independent directors, effective January 23, 2026.

Company officials said the appointments strengthen the board’s expertise in energy operations, finance, corporate governance, and executive leadership as ONEOK continues to expand its role in the U.S. natural gas and midstream energy sector.

Mark McCollum brings deep energy and financial leadership

Mark McCollum, 66, is the former president and chief executive officer of Weatherford International plc, where he served from April 2017 through June 2020. Prior to leading Weatherford, McCollum was executive vice president and chief financial officer at Halliburton Company.

Before joining Halliburton in 2003, McCollum held senior leadership roles at Tenneco Inc. from 1995 through 2003, including serving as chief financial officer. Earlier in his career, he spent 14 years with Arthur Andersen LLP, ultimately becoming an audit and advisory partner in the firm’s global energy practice.

McCollum currently serves on the boards of Westlake Corporation and Seadrill Limited and previously served as a director of Marathon Oil Corporation. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Baylor University.

Precious Williams Owodunni adds strategy and governance expertise

Precious Williams Owodunni, 50, is the chief executive officer of Mountaintop Consulting, a strategy, organizational development, and leadership advisory firm serving Fortune 500 energy companies, investment banks, law firms, and private equity firms worldwide.

Before founding Mountaintop Consulting in 2009, Owodunni served as a vice president at Goldman Sachs & Co., where she made private equity investments in high-growth companies and served on the boards of multiple portfolio companies. She began her career at Goldman Sachs as an investment banker in the firm’s Mergers and Strategic Advisory Group, advising oil and gas, power, retail, and industrial companies on mergers, acquisitions, and corporate finance.

Owodunni has served on the board of Cadence Bank since 2019. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Ethics, Politics, and Economics from Yale University and received her Juris Doctor from Yale Law School.

Committee assignments announced

As part of the board changes, McCollum was appointed to serve on ONEOK’s Audit Committee and Corporate Governance Committee. Owodunni was appointed to serve on the Executive Compensation Committee and Corporate Governance Committee.
