NextEra Energy, the Florida-based energy development company with extensive operations in Oklahoma, plans to release its fourth-quarter and full-year 2025 financial results later this month. The company recorded a nearly 10% adjusted earnings increase in the third quarter.
The results will be made known before the opening of the New York Stock Exchange on Tuesday, Jan. 27, 2026, in a news release to be posted on the company’s website at www.NextEraEnergy.com/FinancialResults. The company will issue an advisory news release over PR Newswire the morning of Jan. 27, with a link to the financial results news release on the company’s website. John Ketchum, chairman, president and chief executive officer of NextEra Energy; Mike Dunne, executive vice president, finance and chief financial officer of NextEra Energy; and other members of the company’s senior management team will discuss the company’s fourth-quarter and full-year 2025 financial results during an investor presentation to be webcast live, beginning at 9 a.m. ET on Jan. 27.
NextEra Energy, Inc. reported 2025 third-quarter net income attributable to NextEra Energy on a GAAP basis of $2.438 billion, or $1.18 per share, compared to $1.852 billion, or $0.90 per
share, for the third quarter of 2024. On an adjusted basis, NextEra Energy’s 2025 third-quarter earnings were $2.348 billion, or $1.13 per share, compared to $2.127 billion, or $1.03 per share, in the third quarter of 2024.
Adjusted earnings in the third quarter grew by 9.7% year over year for the company that is considered one of the largest electric power and energy infrastructure companies in North America and a leading provider of electricity to American homes and businesses.
