Supporters of President Donald Trump are no doubt celebrating after he promised to lower the cost of gasoline in the U.S.

That’s because gas prices have dropped below $3 a gallon for the first time since 2021, according to the two major gasoline-watching groups, GasBuddy and AAA.

GasBuddy recorded the new average is the lowest since May 9, 2021 and it indicated all 50 states experienced a drop in average gas prices over the past week.

Oklahoma’s average fell to $2.41 a gallon, down 8 cents from a week earlier, according to AAA.
