Employee feedback drives Top Workplace recognition
Oklahoma Gas and Electric (OG&E) has been named a 2025 Oklahoma Top Workplace through The Oklahoman’s annual employee survey program, a distinction based entirely on confidential employee feedback.
The recognition reflects OG&E’s workplace culture, leadership, and organizational health, as measured through employee responses rather than management submissions or external nominations.

Sean Trauschke, OG&E Chairman, President and CEO
“This recognition means a great deal because it comes directly from our employees,” said Sean Trauschke, OG&E Chairman, President and CEO. “At OG&E, our employees are at the heart of everything we do. Their dedication to serving our customers and communities is unmatched, and we are committed to providing a workplace where they feel valued, supported and empowered to grow.”
Culture centered on safety, growth, and collaboration
OG&E’s workplace culture is grounded in a clear purpose and shared values, with a strong emphasis on safety, professional development, and collaboration. Employees have access to extensive technical and leadership training, defined career advancement pathways, tuition reimbursement, and programs designed to build long-term skills across the organization.
The company also places a strong focus on employee well-being, supported by comprehensive benefits, established safety practices, and a workplace environment that encourages teamwork and open communication.
Survey reinforces importance of employee voice
The Top Workplaces recognition comes through a survey process that emphasizes the role of employee voice in shaping organizational success.
“Listening is a key ingredient for healthy organizations, and employee feedback helps us identify what we’re doing well and where we can continue to grow,” said Scott Briggs, Vice President – Human Resources. “The Top Workplaces survey process and designation reinforce the importance of open dialogue and our commitment to creating an environment where our employees feel connected to their work and supported by their leaders.”
Independent survey measures organizational health
The Top Workplaces survey is administered by Energage LLC in partnership with The Oklahoman. The survey measures key drivers of engaged and healthy organizations, including alignment, innovation, employee voice, and leadership support.
Results from the survey highlighted the strength of OG&E’s workplace culture and the positive impact employees have on the communities the company serves across Oklahoma.
Leadership says employee input guides future investment
OG&E leadership emphasized that employee feedback will continue to shape how the company invests in its workforce.
“We’re honored to be named a Top Workplace,” Trauschke added. “Our employees’ feedback guides how we continue investing in the people in our organization. Their passion and commitment not only make OG&E a great place to work – they make our company stronger.”
