Funding Helps Expand Access in Food Desert Communities
The PSO Foundation contributed $50,000 to Food On The Move, a Tulsa-based nonprofit that hosts community food and resource events in areas identified as food deserts.
These events provide fresh produce, hot meals, and access to essential services while supporting the organization’s broader mission to create sustainable food access solutions through education, outreach, and partnerships.
Local Leaders Praise Partnership
“We are deeply grateful for the PSO Foundation’s partnership and their dedication to improving food security in our community,” said Tina Parkhill, Food On The Move CEO.
She added, “Their investment enhances our work to reach families with fresh food, warm meals, and vital services. During a period when SNAP benefits are paused and many households are feeling the strain, this support helps us extend our impact and uphold dependable access to the resources our neighbors count on.”
