U.S. sees increase in crude oil supplies

Crude prices likely to remain bearish on limited oil supply impact despite fresh EU sanctions: Experts

 

 

Crude oil stocks grew across the U.S. in the past week while the amount of oil in storage at Oklahoma’s Cushing Hub fell 200,000 barrels.

The latest report from the U.S. Energy Information Administration indicated the Cushing Hub’s total crude oil in storage went from 23.7 million barrels the week of September 19 to 23.5 million barrels by September 26.

The U.S. total grew from 414.8 million barrels on September 19 to 416.5 million barrels on September 26—-a gain of 1.7 million barrels.

Gasoline stocks across the U.S. also grew. The EIA said they stood a 216.6 million barrels by the weekend of September 19 but reached 220.7 million barrels a week later on September 26. It represented a gain of 4.1 million barrels of gasoline.
