Oklahoma Transportation Commissioners will meet Monday morning in Oklahoma City to vote on a proposed newest edition of the state’s Eight-year Construction Work Plan for Fiscal Years 2026-2033.
The plan contains nearly $8 billion in highway improvements statewide, although inflation has moved some of the projects out of the eight-year window, according to the agenda released for the 11 a.m. meeting.
Other items to be addressed include:
- The $500 million Asset Preservation Plan addressing maintenance of the interstate and highway system will also be presented.
- Oklahoma Department of Transportation Executive Director Tim Gatz will brief commissioners on the federal funding bill status and its effect on the department.
