Northeast Oklahoma is where the next official start of two broadband expansion projects will take place by the Oklahoma Broadband office.
The office announced it will officially launch two broadband expansion projects with internet service provider The Junction Internet to improve access to high-speed internet service in Craig and Nowata counites. The projects will significantly enhance digital access to provide economic opportunities for residents and businesses in the area.

Background:
These projects are among more than 180 that are funded by the ARPA State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds and ARPA Capital Projects Fund that will greatly improve high-speed internet access throughout the state, but especially in rural Oklahoma. Awarded grants administered by the Oklahoma Broadband Office will connect some 70,000 homes and businesses in 57 of the state’s 77 counties.
