A dividend of $1.25 per share was announced by Unit Corporation in Tulsa.
The energy company said the dividend for the third quarter of 2025 will be paid on September 26 to sharaeholders of record as of the close of business on September 16.
The quarterly cash dividend will be funded by cash on Unit’s balance sheet.
With a focus on the Anadarko Basin, Unit recently finished the second quarter with $22.1 million or $2.22 a share, double what it recorded in the second quarter of 2024. It also recorded total revenue for the quarter of $59.1 million, compared to $56.8 million for the three months ended June 30, 2024.
When the second quarter results were announced, Phil Frohlick, Unit’s Chief Executive Officer stated, “The quarter was highlighted by increased industry attention on development within our core Anadarko Basin area of interest. We are focused on a number of promising new well opportunities and expect to exceed our original expectations for 2025 new production.”
