For those following water quality rules and regulations in Oklahoma, some special meetings are planned by the Oklahoma Department of Environmental Quality.

The meetings will be held by the Department’s Water Quality Management Advisory Council.

Public Meetings to Discuss Rulemaking for the December 2, 2025, WQMAC Meeting

The Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) will be holding two public meetings to discuss proposed rulemaking for the following Chapters:
OAC 252:606 – OKLAHOMA POLLUTANT DISCHARGE ELIMINATION SYSTEM (OPDES) STANDARDS
OAC 252:626 – PUBLIC WATER SUPPLY CONSTRUCTION STANDARDS
OAC 252:627 – OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE OF WATER REUSE SYSTEMS
OAC 252:656 – WATER POLLUTION CONTROL FACILITY CONSTRUCTION STANDARDS
OAC 252:730 – OKLAHOMA’S WATER QUALITY STANDARDS
OAC 252:740 – IMPLEMENTATION OF OKLAHOMA’S WATER QUALITY STANDARDS
