OSHA and the Garfield County Sheriff’s office are investigating the death of a worker who fell 80 feet from a wind turbine near Enid.
It was Tuesday night when the incident occurred in the area of 150th and Phillips road near Enid. The name of the worker has not been released.
Garfield County Sheriff Cory Rink told KOCO News, “I do know that he had a safety harness on, but I don’t know if it was improper use. I do know they have been developing a wind yard in that area for a few months now.”
