After OK Energy Today reported in June that a wind turbine blade recycling facility was forced to close in Cushing, it moved down the road to Coyle where it’s run into more opposition.
Neighbors complained about the North Coast Enterprise operation but as KOCO 5 news reported, the Department of Environmental Quality and Oklahoma Corporation Commission stated that the facility is in the process of completing all its permits and isn’t out of compliance.
However, late Friday, there were reports that North Coast Enterprise was ordered to stop some of its operations.
