Wastewater study for northwest Arkansas

Northwest Arkansas is seeing a growing need for more wastewater operations and the state is helping the region pay for a more than $1 million cost.

The Northwest Arkansas Regional Planning Commission was assured this week the state government would assist in paying for the study.

The cost of the $1,049,000 engineering study will be shared by the Arkansas Department of Agriculture and the Northwest Arkansas Council which is comprised of community and business leaders.
