Another exchange of attacks occurred between Russia and Ukraine. It led to higher oil prices.
Russia attacked with missiles and drones overnight Thursday and Ukraine responded with drone attacks on two Russian oil refineries. President Trump was unhappy about it Thursday and as a result crude oil prices rose.
West Texas Intermediate went up 45 cents or 0.7% to close at $64.60 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange.
Brent crude managed an increase of 57 cents or 0.8% to $68.62 a barrel.
Natural gas finished at $2.966 after gain of $0.080 or 2.77%.
Most Oklahoma energy stocks finished the day with gains including a nearly 6% increase for NGL Energy Partners.
