A new report shows Oklahoma’s aerospace industry is not only strong, but healthy and adding thousands and thousands of jobs to the state’s economic sector.
The Greater Oklahoma City Chamber released its Aerospace and Aviation Industry Survey, showing that nearly 9,000 jobs were added from 2015 to 2025. In just the past five years since the VID-19 pandemic of 2020, the city’s aerospace sector added nearly 2,200 jobs.
“And while there are still lingering effects of the pandemic on the industry, Oklahoma’s slice of aerospace has not only recovered, it has grown robustly,” said a Chamber official.
