A hot summer? What hot summer?

Look at that map. Beautiful sight, isn’t it? No consecutive days of 100 degree weather so far this summer in Oklahoma.

Ha ha…..laughing in the face of mother nature. You would expect Gary McManus, State Climatologist with the Oklahoma Mesonet to do just that.

“I’m sorry (not really), but this is no way to run a summer. Where’s the burnt legs from sitting down on your vinyl car seat after it’s been beat on by the sun all day? Or even worse, your bare back slapping up against this thing?”
But his forecast includes some hot days this week, but not for long.
Thursday looks the hottest, but then we get another cold front Friday, more rain chances, and then another Saturday meant more for June than July.”
