2024 Fuel expenses of Fort Cobb Fuel Authority to be reviewed

The Oklahoma Corporation Commission has launched the effort to conduct a fuel adjustment clause of the Fort Cobb Fuel Authority.

The Commission has been asked to hold a hearing to monitor and oversee the application and review the various charges or credits to determine whether they are based upon the actual prices paid for fuel.

The review will cover the fuel costs of 2024 for the Fort Cobb Fuel Authority. The Fuel Adjustment Clause is expected to go before an Administrative Law Judge on July 17.

The Fort Cobb Fuel Authority is headquartered in Eakly and is a naturala-gas distribution company serving nearly 3,900 culstomers in Beckham, Blaine, Caddo, Greer, Harmon, Haskell, Hughes, Jackson, Pittsburg, Stephens and Washita counties. Towns in those counties served by FCFA include Binger, Eakly, Gracemont, Lookeba, Velma, rural Carnegie, rural Fort Cobb and rural Hydro.
