A bill to rein in the Oklahoma Turnpike Authority’s expansion of turnpikes won approval this week in a State Senate Committee.
Senate Bill 80 was approved on a 12-0 vote in the Senate Aeronautics and Transportation Committee. However, as the Norman Transcript reported, legislators also struck the measure’s title which is considered to be a move to slow progress of the bill.
