Houston’s Coterra Energy Inc. , another energy firm with exploration and operations in Oklahoma, probably has high hopes of not being “trick or treated” on Halloween night as it releases its third quarter financial report on that date.
The company announced its release date will be Thursday, October 31 after the market closes. A conference call will be held the next day, Friday, Nov. 1 at 8 a.m. central time where leaders will discuss the results.
From its operations in the Anadarko Basin, Marcellus Shale and Permian Basin, Coterra recorded second quarter net income of $220 million or 30 cents a share while its adjusted net income was $272 million and 37 cents a share.
Its producction of barrels of oil equivalent also beat the high-end of guidance. Tom Jorden, Chairman, CEO and President said the second quarter results followed a trend of delivering outstanding performance.
