The Oklahoma Energy Resources Board plans on fall classes under its PetroTech program which officers technical training for those interested in pursuing a career in Oklahoma’s oil and natural gas industry.
The OERB also says the classes can also be used to gain new skills for those already employed in the industry. The deadline to register is August 15.
PetroTech Full Certification- provides training to assist in obtaining a position as a Geological, Engineering or Land Technician, is once again being offered this fall.
Classes include:
Intro to Oil and Natural Gas, Excel Levels 1-3, Access Levels 1-3, Intro to Oil and Natural Gas Economics, Well & Production Data Management, Mud Logging, Electric Logging, Land & Lease Management, ArcGIS in the Petroleum Industry, Industry Excel Practices, Industry Access Practices, Power BI, Spotfire, PHDWin, PowerTools or Aries, Geographix or PETRA Essentials and Resume, Writing & Interviewing.
