Oil prices slipped in Monday’s trading while OK energy stocks went up

Global benchmark Brent crude for March delivery dropped $1.62 to $86.27 a barrel on ICE Futures Europe.

February natural gas rose 3 cents to $4.03 per 1,000 cubic feet.

While crude prices fell, many Oklahoma energy stocks recorded gains for the day. Laredo Petroleum went up nearly 6% while Devon Energy, Helmerich & Payne, Mammoth Energy and NGL Energy Partners had strong 4% gains for the day.

Cheniere (LNG) up 0.57 at 105.13 – change 0.55%

Chevron (CVX) up 0.27 at 127.18 – change 0.21%

ConocoPhillips (COP) up 0.30 at 83.02 – change 0.36%

Diamondback Energy (FANG) up 1.43 at 119.42 – change 1.21%

Energy Transfer LP (ET) up 0.01 at 9.18 – change 0.10%

Enterprise Products Partners (EPD) down 0.15 at 23.65 – change 0.64%

EOG Resources (EOG) up 1.68 at 102.31 – change 1.66%

ExxonMobil (XOM) up 0.62 at 72.79 – change 0.85%

Kinder Morgan (KMI) down 0.05 at 17.32 – change 0.29%

Marathon Oil Corp. (MRO) up 0.20 at 18.30 – change 1.10%

National Oilwell Varco (NOV) up 0.15 at 15.58 – change 0.97%

Occidental Petroleum (OXY) up 0.26 at 34.01 – change 0.77%
