4,000 barrel production from 3 more Ovintiv wells at Kingfisher

This is crazy.  Ovintiv Mid-Continent Inc. scored three more major wells on a single pad with combined production of more than 4,000 barrels of oil a day in Oklahoma’s STACK.

The company completed the Mary 1507 wells last month at a site at 15 15N 7W, which is at the south edge of Kingfisher where Ovintiv has hit paydirt at other sites. The production from the three wells was 4,053 barrels of oil a day.

The largest of the 3 wells had production of 1,538 barrels of oil a day and 2,808 Mcf of natural gas upon its June 8 completion and from a depth of 19, 560 feet in the Mississippian. The well had a July 2020 spud date and drilling was finished in September of that year.

The second largest well produced 1,391 barrels of oil a day and 2,185 Mcf of natural gas from a drilling depth of 19,745 feet. It had a late July 2020 spud date and drilling was finished in September with completion made May 12, 2021.

The third and smallest of the Mary 1507 wells had production of 1,124 barrels of oil a day and 1,849 Mcf of natural gas from a depth of 19,566 feet. The spud date was in July 2020 and drilling was finished in September with completion made June 8 of this year.
