Bagged pumps at gas stations across Colorado linked to trucking industry shortage

 

A delay in fuel supplies caused by pipeline work and a shortage of tanker-truck drivers resulted in dozens of gasoline stations in Denver and southern Colorado running dry last weekend.

The shortage was the tightest in Pueblo, Colorado Springs and parts of Denver according to J. Skyler McKinney, a regional public affairs director for the American Automobile Association in Colorado.
