Williams denied permit to build gas pipeline extension to New York City

EPA Administrator to testify before Sen. Inhofe and others

  • May 15, 2020

Could be some fireworks this week when Environmental Protection Agency Administrator  Andrew Wheeler testifies before the U.S. Senate Environment and Public Works Committee.

Democrats who are critical of the Trump administration’s handling of the EPA are sure to ask some highly critical questions of Wheeler and his running of the agency.

Oklahoma U.S. Sen. Jim Inhofe, a Republican is one of the ranking Republicans on the Committee and was highly supportive of Wheeler’s nomination and confirmation as the Administrator.

Wheeler will appear Wednesday morning during a full committee hearing entitled “Oversight of the Environmental Protection Agency.” The hearing will begin at 9 a.m. Central time.
