Gas wells among Oklahoma completions

Two significant gas wells are among those reported to be completed in Oklahoma in filings with the Corporation Commission.

Continental Resources Inc. of Oklahoma City reported completion of a gas well in Blaine County and its initial production was 10,784 Mcf of natural gas a day. The Slagell 2r-20-29-32xhm, located at 17 14N 13W , a site about 6 miles north of the town of Hydro was completed in October 2021.

The drilled depth was 28,606 feet and followed a June 2021 spud date. Its true vertical depth was more than 14,000 feet.

Calyx Energy III LLC completed a Hughes County gas well with initial production of 9,746 Mcf a day of natural gas. The Pocahontas 2-16-4wh, located at 21 8N 12E, a site several miles southeast of Wetumka was completed in October 2021.

The well had a July 2021 spud date and its drilled depth was 17,012 feet in the Mayes and Woodford formations.

Mewbourne Oil Company filed a completion report on an Ellis County oil well that had production of 162 barrels of oil a day and 278 Mcf of natural. The Willa Dean 29/20 Pi 1hc is located at
32 21N 24W, a site several miles south of Gage. The well had a July 2021 spud date with completion in September 2021.
