Colorado governor now wants to delay gas fee he earlier approved

Six months after Colorado Gov. Jared Polis signed a transportation funding bill that included a 2-cent-a-gallon fee on gasoline, he wants to delay implementation because of high gasoline prices in his state.

With gasoline prices averaging $3.29 a gallon, the governor announced his move this past week, something that drew immediate criticism from his Republican opponents reported the Times Call.
