Oklahoma U.S. Rep. Markwayne Mullin spent his House recess meeting with various groups and also getting an update on work on the Port of Muskogee.
In a letter to constituents, the Republican Congressman said he met with Port officials to see up close the progress made since the 2019 flood.
“This port is vital to our economy and it’s important it receives the funding it needs to continue to serve our district. Watch my interview with News on 6 here.”
Rep. Mullin also toured Scepter Manufacturing in Miami, a firm that makes gasoline and oil containers sold at retailers such as Wal-Mart and Home Depot.
During the tour, the congressman learned the company producers more than 200 million containers a year.
