Rep. Mullin cautions giving away US intellectual properties

Rep. Markwayne Mullin describes coming face-to-face with rioters in Capitol

Oklahoma Congressman Markwayne Mullin (OK-02) participated in a House Energy and Commerce Health Subcommittee hearing Tuesday on enhancing vaccine access.

Mullin praised the success of Operation Warp Speed and expressed concern about the Biden Administration’s efforts to give away intellectual property, putting U.S. national security at risk.

“I hope the Biden Administration rethinks their strategy before they start handing over American intellectual property,” Mullin said. “The American people have invested a lot in this, and we are not just talking about the investment of tax dollars, but also national security.”

The Republican Representative from eastern Oklahoma said the US needs to make sure it emphasizes those priorities first before it begins “handing over our intellectual property – especially to our adversaries.”
