US crude oil prices fall below $63 a barrel

After starting the week with a slight increase, crude oil prices in the US and in Europe suffered losses in Tuesday’s trading and many Oklahoma energy stocks followed suit.

West Texas Intermediate crude for May delivery suffered a 94 cent loss to $62.44 a barrel in trading on the New York Mercantile Exchange.

In ICE Futures Europe, global benchmark Brent crude oil for June delivery fell 48 cents to $66.57 a barrel.

May natural gas fell 2 cents to $2.73 per 1,000 cubic feet.

Oklahoma energy stock experienced big losses too. Cypress Environmental Partners LP lost 8.29% on a 17 cent decline to $1.88.

But at least one company, PHX Minerals Inc. had a strong showing with a 7.92% gain on a 16 cent increase to $2.18.

Alliance Resource Partners, L.P. dropped 7 cents for a 1.20% loss to $5.76.

Blueknight Energy Partners LP finished down 10 cents for a 3.17% loss to $3.05.

Chesapeake Energy dropped 26 cents for a 0.57% loss to $45.71.
Cimarex Energy Co. fell $2.18 for a 3.51% loss to $59.98.
Continental Resources Inc. lost 3.73% on a 99 cent slide to $25.54.
Devon Energy Corp. closed down $1.06 at $20.97 for a 4.81% loss.
Enable Midstream Partners LP finished down 11 cents for a 1.60% loss to $6.77.
Gulfport Energy Corporation lost 3.62% to $0.045 cents.
Helmerich & Payne Inc. lost 3.30% on an 87 cent fall to $25.50.
LSB Industries Inc. fell 12 cents for a 1.91% loss to $6.16.
Laredo Petroleum Inc lost 5.26% on a fall of $1.89 to $34.01.
Magellan Midstream Partners, L.P. dropped 10 cents to $45.49 for a loss of 0.22%.
Mammoth Energy Services Inc. closed down 32 cents for a 6.87% loss to $4.34.
Matrix Service Co. lost 4.48% on a 58 cent slide to $12.36.
NGL Energy Partners LP closed down 6 cents at $1.91 for a 3.05% loss.
OGE Energy Corp. finished up 8 cents at $33.64 for a 0.24% gain.
ONE Gas gained 1.02% on an 82 cent increase to $81.87.
ONEOK, Inc. finished down $1.15 for a 2.22% loss to $50.63.
Ovintiv Inc. fell $1.57 for a 6.72% loss to $21.80.
SandRidge Energy Inc. fell 9 cents for a 2.43% loss to $3.62.
Unit Corporation dropped 75 cents to $12.30 for a 5.75% loss.
Williams Companies Inc. closed down 24 cents at $23.45 for a loss of 1.01%.

ExxonMobil (XOM) down 1.19 at 55.29 – change 2.11%

Kinder Morgan (KMI) down 0.08 at 16.55 – change 0.43%

Marathon Oil Corp. (MRO) down 0.52 at 10.11 – change 4.90%
