Reopening time for Corporation Commission offices?

Oklahoma Corporation Commissioners might consider reopening the agency offices to the public in a Wednesday morning meeting at the capitol.

The agenda stated that there will be discussion and a possible vote on a proposed plan or timeline for the Jim Thorpe Building, the Tulsa Regional Office and all field offices to reopen.

The Jim Thorpe is the headquarters of the commission and has been closed since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. Since the pandemic, the offices were closed to the public and many of the public meetings were virtual. Only in the past several months have some meetings included actual attendance by the commissioners and representatives of various Commission divisions.

The meeting will begin at 9:30 a.m.
