Crude oil prices remain under $60 in US trading

Crude oil prices struggled again on Wednesday as US prices settled just under $60 a barrel.

West Texas Intermediate crude for May delivery finished up 36 cents for a less than 1% gain to $59.69 on the New York Mercantile Exchange.

Brent crude for June delivery rose 37 cents for a gain of 0.59% to $63.11 in ICE Futures Europe.

Natural gas finished up six cents at $2.51 per 1,000 cubic feet for a gain of 2.32%.

Wednesday proved to be another up and down day for Oklahoma energy stocks as the market continued to be volatile.

Of the local stocks, Blueknight Energy Partners LP had the biggest loss of 4.23% on a 15 cent fall to $3.40.

Alliance Resource Partners, L.P. fell 8 cents for a 1.34% loss to $5.88.

Chesapeake Energy dropped 11 cents to $45.10 for a loss of 0.24%.

Cimarex Energy finished up 3 cents at $63.14 and a gain of 0.048%.
Continental Resources fell 18 cents for a loss of 0.69% to $25.85.
Cypress Environmental Partners LP dropped 7 cents for a 3.11% loss to $2.18.
Devon Energy Corp lost 1.14% on a 26 cent fall to $22.52.
Enable Midstream Partners LP gained 1.20% as shares rose 8 cents to $6.73.
Gulfport Energy Corporation gained 8.09% to $0.055 cents.
Helmerich & Payne, Inc. gained 2.38% as shares rose 64 cents to $27.534.
LSB Industries closed down 3cents at $5.01 for a loss of less than 1%.
Magellan Midstream Partners finished up 18 cents at $45.23 and a gain of 0.40%.
Mammoth Energy Services Inc settled at $5.78 after a 23 cent increase and gain of 4.14%.
Matrix Service Co. dropped more than 9 cents for a 0.69% loss to $13.66.
NGL Energy Partners LP lost 1.81% on a 4 cent fall to $2.17.
OGE Energy Corp. picked up 29 cents to close at $32.99 and a gain of nearly 1%.
ONE Gas finished up 8 cents at $77.39 and a gain of 0.10%.
ONEOK fell 12 cents for a loss of 0.23% to $51.14.
Ovintiv Inc closed down 14 cents at $24.51 and a loss of 0.57%.
PHX Minerals Inc. finished down 4 cents and a loss of 1.38% to $2.86.
SandRidge Energy settled at $3.87, down 3 cents and a loss of 0.77%.
Unit Corporation finished up one cent at $13.01 and a gain of 0.077%.
Williams Companies wrapped up the day with a 35 cent increase and a 1.47% gain to $24.12.

Other energy stocks were down too according to the Texas Energy Report.

Enterprise Products Partners (EPD) down 0.02 at 22.57 – change 0.09%

EOG Resources (EOG) up 1.00 at 73.30 – change 1.38%

ExxonMobil (XOM) up 0.24 at 56.59 – change 0.43%

Kinder Morgan (KMI) up 0.23 at 16.93 – change 1.38%

Marathon Oil Corp. (MRO) down 0.20 at 10.94 – change 1.80%

National Oilwell Varco (NOV) up 0.03 at 13.61 – change 0.22%

Occidental Petroleum (OXY) down 0.05 at 25.30 – change 0.20%

Phillips 66 (PSX) down 0.85 at 80.00 – change 1.05%

Pioneer Natural Resources (PXD) up 2.16 at 153.53 – change 1.43%

Valero (VLO) up 0.26 at 74.41 – change 0.35%
