Latest proposed drilling efforts in Oklahoma

The COVID-19 pandemic and oil crisis have resulted in little new drilling in Oklahoma but the latest effort will be in Garvin County.

Houston-based OVINTIV Mid-Continent Inc. received drilling permits this week for three wells to be drilled on a single pad near the community of Purdy. The Robertson wells are to be drilled at 28 3N 4W.

Drilling will be into the Springer formation and depths, according to the permits will be just under 13,000.
