** Phillips 66 executive management will host a conference call webcast at noon EDT on Friday, July 31, to discuss the company’s second-quarter 2020 financial results, which will be released earlier that day, and provide an update on strategic initiatives.

** Product Advisory notices have been sent to importers, Building Code Associations and Homebuilder Associations throughout the U.S. warning against the purchase or sale of substandard and unsafe plywood imported from Brazil. The distribution of the notices are the result of a motion for preliminary injunction filed on June 5 by ten U.S. plywood companies who make up the U.S. Structural Plywood Integrity Coalition.

** The movie-star look to SpaceX’s new spacesuits is just one of the innovative features the Crew Dragon astronauts enjoyed during the Demo-2 test flight to the International Space Station. NASA astronauts Doug Hurley and Bob Behnken were the first humans to wear the suits in space during their mission, which began May 30 with a flawless launch from Florida — the first human spaceflight from the region since the space shuttle program ended in 2011. And they give them a 5-star rating.

** Recent data show 722 companies sought bankruptcy protection around the U.S. last month, a 48% increase from the year-ago period. Chapter 11 filings also jumped in April and March, as states started imposing business restrictions amid the coronavirus outbreak.

** In connection with its expected emergence from Chapter 11, PG&E Corporation announced the selection of a new Board of Directors upon emergence to help guide the company post-bankruptcy. The new Board will consist of 14 members, 11 of whom are new and will be officially appointed to join the Board at or prior to emergence from bankruptcy and following required bankruptcy court submissions.

** Murphy Oil Corporation announced that Roger W. Jenkins, President and Chief Executive Officer, will present at the virtual J.P. Morgan 2020 Energy, Power & Renewables Conference on Wednesday, June 17, 2020 at 11:30 a.m. Eastern Daylight Time (EDT).
