Regulators consider ONEOK Hydrocarbon application

Oklahoma regulators are considering an application by ONEOK to construct a new pipeline and facilities at its Medford Natural Gas Liquids Processing Plant.

The Medford NGL Plant is a natural gas liquids fractionator. Demethanized NGL is gathered from natural gas processing plants and brought to the facility via pipeline. The facility
receives raw NGL from two pipelines, the Oklahoma Gathering Pipeline and the FERC Gathering Pipeline.

The facility is located 2 miles south of Medford in northern Oklahoma. ONEOK Hydrocarbon filed a permit request with the Oklahoma Department of Environmental Quality.

Some of the products from the fractionator are shipping by truck or pipeline. Excess raw NGL can be routed to an underground storage cavern.
