Minority owner of Chesapeake makes SEC filing

A filing by a 10% owner of Chesapeake Energy in Oklahoma City reflected a power of attorney.

CG Subsidiary Holdings LLC made the filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission on behalf of the Carlyle Group of Washington, D.C.

The Carlyle Group owns 172,897,387 common shares in the company and made the filing to reflect a power of attorney. The names of several attorneys were included in the SEC filing.
