Oil and gas keep flowing from new Oklahoma wells

The latest completion reports filed with the Oklahoma Corporation Commission show Newfield Exploration Mid-Con Inc. has more success in the STACK, while Fourpoint Energy in western Oklahoma and EOG Resources in McClain County brought in wells.

EOG Resources Inc. reported two wells on a single pad at 7 9N 4W in McClain County or about 3 miles due west of Newcastle had combined production of 1,991 barrels of oil a day.

The Warhawk 0631 wells, drilled in the Mississippian-Woodford formation had July 2019 spud dates with completions made in September of this year. The larger of the wells had a depth of 19,701 feet while the second well’s depth was 19,855 feet.

Newfield Exploration Mid-Con Inc. reported three wells drilled in Blaine County. While two Debbie 1413 wells were small producers of less than 100 barrels of oil each, the Hollie Fed 1611 4h-25x located at 36 16N 11W had production of 742 barrels of oil a day and 1,504 Mcf of gas. The Hollie Fed well is located six miles southeast of Watonga and was completed in June 2019 at a depth of 20,847 feet.

Newfield also brought in a Kingfisher County well with production of 716 barrels of oil daily and 1,824 Mcf of natural gas. It is located at 36 17N 9W.

Roan Resources completed two wells on a single pad at 22 11N 7W or about 5 miles south of El Reno in Canadian County The Silver Charm 22-27-11-7 wells had combined production of 978 barrels of oil a day out of the Mississippian-Woodford formation.

One well with production of 498 barrels of oil and 3,199 Mcf a day was completed in June 2019 at a depth of 20,848 feet. The second well with production of 480 barrels of oil a day and 1,957 Mcf a day had a depth of 15,233 feet.

Fourpoint Energy LLC continued drilling in Ellis County in western Oklahoma bringing in two wells. The Seymour 4×9-17-23 had production of 610 barrels of oil a day and 4,949 Mcf of natural gas. It was located at 4 17N 23W or several miles southeast of Arnett.

The second well, the West Hog 30×31-19-25-2hc, located at 30 19N 25W had production of 359 barrels of oil daily and 791 Mcf of natural gas. It is located several miles southwest of Arnett and only about six miles east of the state line.

Revolution Resources LLC reported completions of three wells on a single pad at 6 14N 4W in Oklahoma County. The Arya 1404 wells had combined production of 934 barrels of oil a day.

Located about 6 miles northeast of Piedmont, the wells were drilled at various depths in the 16,000 foot range out of the Hunton formation.
