Newfield hits pay dirt again in Oklahoma’s Kingfisher County

Houston’s Newfield Exploration Mid-Con LLC  unloaded at least 18 completion reports in the past week in Oklahoma including two series of 5 wells on a single pad with production of more than 3,300 barrels of oil a day at one site and more than 2,300 on the other in the STACK.

The Ken Fred 1608 wells, located at 33 17N 8W in Kingfisher County o about 7 miles northwest of the city of Kingfisher were completed in June and July 2019. The largest had production of 1,159 barrels of oil a day along with 1,034 Mcf of natural gas. The second largest produced 826 barrels of oil a day and 854 Mcf of gas. The remaining wells had production of 502, 448 and 388 barrels of oil daily. The drilling depths of the 5 wells ranged from the shallowest well at 18,608 feet to the deepest at 18,920 feet.

Five Bengs 1608 wells drilled at 10 16N 8W or about 6 miles west of Kingfisher had combined production of 2,377 barrels of oil a day. The largest producer had 852 barrels of oil a day while production on the four remaining wells was 580, 433, 265 and 247 barrels of oil daily. The wells had January and February 2019 spud dates and completions were made in June 2019. Drilling depths ranged from 13,981 up to 18,914 feet.

Newfield wasn’t finished with Kingfisher County. It reported a two-well pad at 31 16N 8W or 8 miles southwest of the city of Kingfisher and its combined production was 1,350 barrels of oil a day. The Kenneth Fiu 1608 wells had spud dates in February 2019 and completion dates in August 2019. Drilling depths were 19,050 and 19,327 feet.

Newfield also brought in an oil well in McClain County, located at 32 8N 4W or about one mile southeast of the city of Blanchard. The Foster 8-4-29-20-1h had production of 631 barrels of oil daily and 509 Mcf of natural gas.

Newfield also reported completion of another gas well in Coal County and north of the city of Coalgate. The well had production of 7,214 Mcf of gas at 28 3N 11E and was completed in April 2019.

Fourpoint Energy LLC continues bringing in wells in western Oklahoma’s Ellis County. Its latest filings show completion of two wells near Arnett. One located southwest of Arnett and only 5 miles from the state line had production of 327 barrels of oil a day and 675 Mcf of natural gas. The second well is south of Arnett with production of 747 barrels of oil daily and 1,095 Mcf of natural gas.

The Denver, Colorado based company has produced several wells in Ellis County which has become one of its favorite targets in Oklahoma.
